LOWELL - Louis F. Auclair, Jr., 67, of Lowell, unexpectedly passed away in his sleep on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Fairhaven Healthcare Center in Lowell.
He was born in Lowell on January 23, 1949, the son of the late Louis F. Auclair, Sr. and the late Irene (Grondine) Auclair. He graduated from Lowell High School, Class of 1968 and served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1969-1973. He also fought in the Golden Gloves in 1973-1974. He worked as a letter carrier for the U.S.P.S., until his retirement in 1996.
He is survived by two daughters, Ann-Marie Auclair and her fiancé' Tjay Legatos of Lowell and Tammy (Noonan) Auclair and Michael Rodriguez of Lowell, and a son, Brian Auclair of Norfolk; four sisters, Delores Brown of Lowell, Diane Dufresne of Lowell, Pauline Falzone and husband Peter of Millis, Janet Sylvester and husband Ronald of Florida. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, Desteni, Daniel, Amanda, Nick, Lexie, Olivia, Miracle, Silkiana, and Jasmin, 5 great-grandchildren, Mya, Hayden, Cooper, Chloe, and Seeley, as well as many nieces, nephews, and close friends, including Micky Ward. He was also the brother of the late Paul Auclair.
