Lorraine B. Vaughn

Lorraine B. (Safford) Vaughn, 70, a longtime Lowell resident, died Friday June 28, 2013 at the Lowell General Hospital at Saints Campus.
Born in Lynn on May 27, 1943, she was a daughter of Lillian and Albert Safford.
Lorraine worked for many years as a nurse's aide at Tewksbury State Hospital.
Survivors include five children, Fred Vaughn and Steven Vaughn, both of MA, Russell Vaughn of ME, Julie Almeida of TX and Jeannette Barros and her husband, Michael of Lowell; a brother, Robert Safford of MA; and many grandchildren. She was the grandmother of the late Jack Barros.
