Lorraine R. Mullin

PELHAM, NH - Lorraine R. (St. John) Mullin, age 88, a resident of Pelham, NH and former longtime Lowell resident died Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at her home with her loving family by her side.  She was the beloved wife of the late George F. Mullin who died in 1993.  

She was born in Lowell on February 16, 1934, and was a daughter of the late Hermaningele and Mary (Usher) St. John.  She received her education in Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School.  

Prior to her retirement, Lorraine was a talented floral designer for many years at Wood Brothers Florist in Lowell.  

She was a longtime, active parishioner of St. Michael Church in Lowell.  

Lorraine was an avid New England Patriots fan and she enjoyed playing Scrabble and going on long drives.  Her greatest joy however, was spending as much time as possible with her adoring grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandson.  

She is survived by her daughters, Patty Grantz and her husband Stephen of Pelham, NH, Kathy Turcotte of Barnstead, NH and Cheryl Gettings and her husband Dennis of Mt. Airy, NC; nine grandchildren, Kristine Maraganis, Andrea Turpin and her husband Dave, Mark Grantz and his wife Mindy, Derek Gettings and his wife Lynn, Eric Turcotte, Brandon Turcotte and his wife Lindsay, Kara Gettings and Dave Savard, Laura Gettings and Dan White and Ashley Turcotte; 22 great grandchildren; a great great grandson; a sister, Patricia Renaud; three brothers-in-law, John Mullin, Warren Parece and Andy Mullin; and many nieces and nephews.  

She was also the mother of the late Deborah Mullin, the grandmother of the late DJ Turcotte and the sister of the late Edward St. John and Mary Bergeron.  

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Lorraine’s Life Celebration at the MCKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell on Monday from 4:00 until 7:00pm.  Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00am at St. Michael Church in Lowell.  Burial in St. Patrick Cemetery in Lowell.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Lorraine’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or at stjude.org.
