Lowell – Lorraine B. (Belanger) Perrault, beloved wife of Roland W. "Bill" Perrault, Jr. died at her Christian Hill residence following an extended illness. She was 74.
Lorraine was born in Biddeford, Maine on May 9, 1937, a daughter of the late Emile and Elizabeth (Gosslin) Belanger.
Lorraine grew up in Biddeford and graduated from St. Joseph High School there.
She graduated from Northeastern University and in earlier years was a teacher at St. Joseph Elementary School in Biddeford. She also worked as a substitute teacher in Biddeford, ME, New York and Lowell.
Prior to her retirement Lorraine was employed for 25 years at Raytheon as a scheduler and planner.
She volunteered in the Pastoral Care Department at Saints Medical Center, and volunteered at the Lowell Senior Citizens, where she helped people with accounting and tax preparation.
Lorraine was a communicant of St. Michael Church where she served as a Lector and Eucharistic Minister.
She was also a member of Al-Anon.
Most of all Lorraine took care of her family.
Surviving her besides her husband are four children and two daughters in law, Elizabeth Tellier of Lowell, William R. and Robin Perrault of Kalamazoo, MI, Paul B. Perrault and patty Wentworth of Biddeford, ME, Angeline Perrault of Old Orchid Beach, ME; eight grandchildren, Aja and her partner Kelsey, Bradley, Jamie, Brian, Andrew, Isaac, Megan, and Brian; a great grandchild Vladimimir; two sisters and brothers, Jean Hale, Doris Belanger, Donald Belanger all of Denver, CO, Paul and Paulette Belanger of Old Orchard Beach, ME; dear friends, Lois and Steve Maxner of Tamsworth, NH; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Claude Belanger and mother in law of the late Leo Tellier.
