Lorraine M. (St. Hilaire) Morency, 88, a resident of Lowell, MA, died on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Life Care Center of Merrimack Valley in Billerica. She was the beloved wife of the late Leon Morency, until his passing in 2020.

Born in Lowell, MA on January 3, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Blanche (St. Louis) and Oscar St. Hilaire. Lorraine was raised and educated in Lowell but took great pride in her Canadian heritage.

She was a parishioner of St. Francis Church in Dracut. Lorraine was deeply rooted in her faith and prayed on a daily basis and like her late husband Leon, was a friend of Bill W and a power example to many.

Lorraine is survived and will be deeply missed by her three stepsons, David Morency and his wife Lisa of Dracut, Duane Morency of Lowell and his partner Laurel Anderson of Sarasota, FL and Daniel Morency and his wife Lisa of Dracut; her grandchildren, Erica, Kayla, Nicholas, Derek, Eddie, Vanessa, Sara and Olivia; her great-grandchildren, Adomus and Aubrey; her nephew, Bennett Sawyer and his wife Barbara of North Waterboro, ME; her two great-nephews, Bennett and Brian Sawyer; her great-niece, Beth McKee and her great-great-nephew, Connor McKee.
