Lorraine B. Gagnon

Lorraine B. (Coutu) Gagnon, age 89, a longtime resident of Dracut, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at Lowell General Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Albert J. “Chubby” Gagnon, Jr., to whom she was married to for 64 years, until his passing in 2022.

She was born in Lowell on March 7, 1937, and was a daughter of the late Leona (Pare) and Roland Coutu.

Lorraine leaves behind a legacy of deep rooted faith, extraordinary strength, tireless dedication and a love that will continue through generations. She enjoyed being in the comfort of her own home and the shared connections her cooking brought within those walls.

She is survived by her five children, Darlene Callery and her husband, Paul of Nashua, NH, Albert Gagnon, III of Pelham, NH, Lynn Gagnon of Dracut, Brian Gagnon, Sr. and his wife, Michelle of Dracut and Darrin Gagnon, Sr. and his wife, Patricia of Hudson, NH; her thirteen grandchildren, William Cole, Paul Callery, Jr. and his wife, Jennifer, Larissa Bailey and her husband, Richard, Albert Gagnon, IV and his wife, Jessica, Cody Gagnon, Jessie Gagnon, Brandie Gagnon, Brian Gagnon, Jr. and his wife, Kali, Brandon Gagnon and his wife, Julianna, Anthony Catenacci and his wife, Kaitlin, Eric Catenacci, Darrin Gagnon, Jr. and Kaelyn Gagnon; her thirteen great-grandchildren; her sister, Denise Clark of Dracut; her brother, Maurice Coutu and his wife, Pearl of NH; as well as many in-laws, nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Lorraine is predeceased by her siblings, Roland, Constance and Norman.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Lorraine’s Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Friday, October 16, 2026 at 11 AM at STE. MARGUERITE D’YOUVILLE CHURCH, 1340 Lakeview Avenue, Dracut. Burial to follow in Gibson Cemetery, Pelham, NH.
