Lorraine A. (Arseneault) Duchesne

Lorraine A. (Arseneault) Duchesne, a resident of Lowell, died on Sunday January 8, 2012 following a courageous battle with a lengthy illness. She was 71.
Lorraine was born in Lowell on February 6, 1940, a daughter of the late Arthur and Alma (Pare) Arseneault.
Prior to her retirement, Lorraine worked in the medical records department at the EN Rogers Veterans Administration hospital in Bedford, where she was a proud and valued employee. Lorraine enjoyed her daily interactions with patients and colleagues.
Lorraine loved to read and play bingo. She took great pleasure in spending time with her family and especially cherished family gatherings.
Survivors include her five children, Donna Duchesne of N. Chelmsford, Denise Sarault of No. Chelmsford, Deborah Duchesne of Chelmsford, Daniel Duchesne and his wife Laurie of Dracut, Jeffrey Duchesne and Jill Tereshko of Lowell; seven grandchildren, Melanie Stec of Tyngsboro , Rachel Duchesne of Chelmsford, Christopher Duchesne of Dracut, Sean Sarault, Stephen Sarault both of No. Chelmsford, Jessica Duchesne of Dracut, Marie Loren Sarault of No. Chelmsford; five brothers and sisters in law, Robert and Sylvia Arseneault of New Ipswich, NH, Normand and Dale Arseneault of Lowell, Paul and Sandra Arseneault of Tyngsboro, Ronald and Denise Arseneault, Richard and Anne Arseneault all of Lowell; and several nieces and nephews. She was also the mother in law of the late Jimbo Sarault and sister of the late Roger and Jeanne Arseneault.
Lorraine's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Radius Northwood for the care, comfort and the kindness extended to her during her stay.
