Lowell - Loretta E. (Toy) Quigley, Widow of John E. Quigley, Sr., a resident of the Centralville section of Lowell, died Saturday October 11, 2008 at a local nursing home. She was 91.
Born in Lowell On June 30, 1917, she was a daughter of the late George and Rose (Armitage) Toy.
Prior to her retirement Loretta was a bridal consultant for the former A.G. Pollard's in Lowell. Following retirement she worked at several bridal boutiques in the Lowell area.
She was a communicant of St. Michael Church and was a member of the St. Dominic's Club there.
Survivors include two sons, Philip A. Quigley of Hudson, NH, John E. Quigley, Jr. of Lowell; two daughters and sons in law, Ann Marie and Charles W. Braley of Lowell, Lorretta E. and Warren J. Kerrigan, Jr., of Shirley; three daughters in law Nancy Quigley of TX, Sharon Quigley of Lowell, Faith Quigley of Hudson, NH; 12 grandchildren; several great grandchildren. She was also the mother of the late Raymond J. Quigley, and sister of the late George Toy and Mary Williams.
