Lowell – Loretta M. (Lessard) Bordeleau, 92, a resident of the Centralville section of Lowell, died Friday morning, September 16, 2011 at a local health care facility. She was the wife of the late Edgar A. Bordeleau.
Born in Lowell, May 3, 1919, she was a daughter of the late Edmond and Florida (Dion) Lessard.
Mrs. Bordeleau was a longtime communicant of the former St. Louis de France Church. She held membership in the Centralville Senior Citizens Club, the Cercle Ste. Marie, the SAGE Club and AARP.
In her younger years, she was employed by the Porter Dress Company and Lowell Lingerie Company.
She leaves a son, Beau-Pierre Bordeleau of Hooksett,; three daughters, Lorraine Russell of Dalton, , Estelle Koroski and her husband George of Nashua, and Colette Ruiter and her husband Raymond of Lowell, MA; a sister, Beatrice Lessard of Boston, MA; 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Leon Lessard, Lionel Lessard, Eugene Lessard, Tim Lessard and Rita Hoare.
