Loraine L. (Bailey) LaRiviere, 87, a resident of the Centralville section of Lowell, died Sunday, March 21, 2004 at the Lowell General Hospital. She was the wife of the late Leon O. LaRiviere.
Born in Lowell on May 1, 1916, she was a daughter of the late Eli and Blanche (Desmarais) Bailey.
Prior to her retirement, Mrs. LaRiviere had been employed as a fancy stitcher for various shoe shops in the Lowell area.
She was a communicant of St. Michael Church.
She is survived by two sons, Richard L. LaRiviere of Land O' Lakes, FL and Conrad Robert LaRiviere of Tewksbury; two daughters, Theresa A. Edwards and her companion Wayne Jenkins of Lowell and Elaine I. Boucher and her husband Roland of Lowell; four grandchildren, Kelley Gray of Lowell, William W. Edwards and his companion Melanie Dunham of Tyngsboro, Angela L. Boucher and her fianc�e Raymond Ouillette of Lowell and Cherie LaRiviere of Land O' Lakes, FL; 6 great grandchildren; an aunt, Mary Eno of Dracut; several nieces and nephews.
