LOWELL - Lisa M. Proulx, 50, a resident of Lowell, died unexpectedly Sunday, September 11, 2016 at her home. She was the beloved wife of Carl D. Proulx, Sr., to whom she has been married for 25 years.
She was born in Lowell on September 20, 1965, and was the daughter of Elaine J. (Noel) Buote of Dracut and the late Donald M. Buote. She was a graduate of St. Therese Grammar School in Dracut and Presentation of Mary Academy in Hudson, NH.
Lisa was employed by CVS in Chelmsford. Prior to that she was employed by Lahey Clinic in Burlington and Dupont Merck Pharmaceutical Company in North Billerica.
In her free time she enjoyed traveling and doing crafts, but above all she enjoyed spending time in the company of children.
In addition to her husband and mother, Lisa is survived by her two loving step-children, Carl D. Proulx, Jr. and his wife Vasiliki "Betsy" of Dracut and Jillian Buote of Lowell; two grandchildren, Rory and Cody Proulx; a brother John Buote and his wife Dora of Tyngsboro; two sisters, Donna Buote of Nashua, NH and Melissa Williams of Hudson, NH; five sisters-in-law, Claire Richards of Lowell, Lucille Cambray of Lowell, Leona Allard and her husband Normand of Dracut, Denise Bryan and her husband Lynwood of Tyngsboro, and Colette Joyce and her husband Thomas of Milford, NH.
She was also the sister of the late Daniel Buote and Diane Buote.
