Linda S. Wiegmann

Linda S. Wiegmann, a resident of Derry, NH, formerly of Lowell, died Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at the Parkland Medical Center. She was 66.

Linda was born in Pittsfield and grew up in Lowell, a daughter of the late John and Lillian (Briere) Wiegmann.

As a teenager, Linda worked in shoe shop and then retail shoe sales. This must be where her relationship with shoes began. She had a shoe collection that rivaled Imelda Marcos.

A foodie, Linda looked forward to trying new restaurants. She enjoyed going to the movies, especially horror films. Linda adored the beach. She loved to laugh with her family and friends.

She was selfless and devoted, always taking care of others. Family was her whole life, and she was the family caretaker.

Survivors include her three sisters, Mary Lou Bedard of Nashua, NH, Bonnie Lee Wiegmann of Hudson, NH, Donna M. Wiegmann and her companion Janis Quinn of Pelham, NH; her longtime companion Charles Vitale of Derry, NH; several nieces and nephews including Jennifer L. Martin of Manchester, NH, Sarah and Ray Ricard of Litchfield, NH; a great niece Penny Ricard who Linda adored and cherished whenever she spent time with her. She was also the sister of the late John R. Wiegmann and Mark S. Wiegmann.
Relatives and friends are invited to Linda's Life Celebration at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, from 4 until 8 PM on Monday. Her graveside prayers will be offered on Tuesday at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to MSPCA, 400 Broadway Methuen, MA 01844.
