Linda M. (Picanso) Daigle

August 20, 1946 — February 26, 2016

Linda M. (Picanso) Daigle, cherished her family. They were by her side when she passed away at the Tufts New England Medical Center on Friday, February 26, 2016. She was 69.

Born in Lowell on August 20, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Lino and Gladys (Mendonca) Picanso.
Linda was educated in Lowell and graduated from Notre Dame Academy and attended Chandler School for Women in Boston. She was employed at the Raytheon Corporation for many years, but most recently worked as a buyer for several manufacturing companies.
Linda was a communicant of St. Anthony Parish, and a member of the Holy Ghost Society.

Linda and her husband Bob enjoyed traveling. They looked forward to visits to Disney World with the grandchildren, and visiting family in California. They would also enjoy a road trip to Foxwoods Resort.
She was an avid poker player, and would play several nights a week with her poker club. Linda relished her crafts, shopping with her daughters and visits to the beach. A tremendous hostess, she and Bob took pleasure in hosting family events, especially Christmas which was her favorite.
Linda's family was paramount to her. Especially her grandchildren, she would make sure to be at all sports, plays and recitals.
Her family will always remember her for her selflessness, devotion, and giving manner.
Surviving her besides her husband, Robert L. Daigle, is two daughters and a son in law, Lisa A. Daigle of Hudson, NH, Melanie and Jason Jozokos of Litchfield, NH; four grandchildren, Maddison, Jaxson, Jaylyn, Jynjer; her brothers in law and sisters in law, David and Susan Daigle of Dracut, Gary and Diane Daigle of Pelham, NH, Luanne and Bob Houston of Litchfield, NH, Robert Mungovan of FL, Maryjane Picanso of Lowell; several nieces and nephews including James and Laurie Hogan of Pelham, NH. She was the sister of the late Lino "Leo" Picanso, aunt of the late Alexander J. Picanso, niece of the late Laura T. Gulbicki and Margaret Katibian.
