Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Sister, Aunt & Friend

DRACUT - Linda S. (Newell) Bergeron, a Dracut resident, age 75, died on Monday, May 12, 2025 at d’Youville Senior Care in Lowell. She was the beloved wife of Leo H. Bergeron, with whom she was married to for 47 years.

Born in Lowell on March 17, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Jean (Bailey) and Donald Newell. Linda worked for many years as a receptionist for various companies.

Linda loved to sing and listen to music and enjoyed the beach. Her most cherished time though was spent in the company of her family and friends and always having a fun time with those she was with.

In addition to her husband, Leo she is survived and will be deeply missed by her two daughters, Melissa Espada and her husband Felix of Lowell and Leah Bergeron of Dracut; her three grandchildren, Angel, Jessica and Yvonne; her four great-grandchildren, Damian, Joshua, Kylenna and Elijah; her brother Donald Newell and his wife, Natalie of Nashua; her sister, Maryrose Murphy and her husband, Brian of Lowell; her niece, Catherine Reis; her nephew, James Gaznick; as well as many other family and friends.

She was the sister of the late Catherine Newell.

Relatives and friends are invited to Linda’s Funeral Mass on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at 10 AM at STE. MARGUERITE D’YOUVILLE, Dracut. Burial to follow in St. Patrick Cemetery, Lowell.
