Lillian G. Roussell

Hudson, NH -Lillian G. Roussell "M�m�re" 97, of Hudson NH, died peacefully on Saturday February 28th 2009, at a local nursing home.

She was born January 25th 1912 in Lowell Ma, daughter of the late Paul and Eva (Desjardins) Albert from Canada. Lillian was the widow of Leo P. Roussell who died in 1964. She is also predeceased by 2 brothers and a sister.

Lillian lived most of her life in Dracut MA where she and her husband owned a family business for 50 years. She moved to Hudson in 1977 where she resided with one of her daughters.

She was a communicant of St. Kathryn's Church in Hudson and formerly a communicant of the St. Therese Church now St. Marguerite D'Youville Parish in Dracut.

Lillians hobbies included sewing, knitting, bingo, bowling and watching TV game shows. For 25 years she was also an at-home volunteer for her daughter's classroom, correcting papers, doing crafts and helping to make bulletin board decorations. Her most remarkable "accomplishment" was making 750 single mittens for the kids at Nottingham West to use as whiteboard erasers!

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Leo G. and Julie Roussell of Peoria AZ; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Elaine Paquette of Burlington VT, Claudette Shibel of Phoenix AZ, Jeanne and Allen Passon of Glendale AZ, Collette and Richard Deneault of Hudson, NH; many grandchildren and great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild on the way; and several nieces and nephews.
