Mrs. Lillian R.(Dusablon) Rousseau, age 85, a longtime Dracut resident, died peacefully on Friday October 19, 2012 at D'Youville Senior Care surrounded by her family. Lillian was the beloved wife of the late Richard E. Rousseau, Sr. with whom she was married for 60 years.
Born in Lowell on April 17, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Mary Louise (Therrian) Dusablon of Tewksbury.
Mrs. Rousseau was educated in the Lowell school system and once married, she and her husband traveled in the earlier years of his employment at Goodyear, Inc., then they settled in their Dracut home for over 40 years.
Lillian and her husband were avid Ballroom dancers. She loved crafts, Bingo, shopping, going out to eat and being around her family.
She was a volunteer at the Dracut Senior Center, the Pelham Senior Center and was a member of the Salvation Army Organization.
She was employed at Raytheon Corp. in Andover and Sanders Association in Nashua, NH.
She is survived by her two sons, Richard E. Rousseau Jr. and his wife, Ellen of Deltona, FL and Dorian W. Rousseau and his wife, Maryanne of Hudson, NH; seven grandchildren, Lisa Dean and her husband, Danny, Kim Richards and her husband, Bob, Richard E. Rousseau, III, Mark Rousseau and his wife, Stephanie, David Rousseau and his wife, Denise, Laurie Rousseau and Teddy Rousseau. She has 10 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; a sister, Mary Louise Morales; Robert Rheaume and several nieces and nephews and many friends. She was a sister of the late Alfred J. Dusablon, Jr. and Francis Dusablon and Doris Dusablon.
