Dracut- Lillian M Provencher, 68, wife of Roland A Provencher and a resident of this town for many years, died Friday, December 17 at Lowell General Hospital. Born in Lowell on May 2, 1936, she was a daughter of the lateThomas J Hill, Sr and Lillian (Milne) Hill. She received her education in the Lowell School system and was a 1953 graduate of Lowell High School. She was a communicant of Ste Therese Church in Dracut.
Prior to her retirement, Lillian had been employed as a telephone operator with New England Tel & Tel until 1960 and then was employed with Internal Revenue of Andover retiring in 1984.
Surviving her beside her husband are a daughter and son-law, Sharon and David
Palmer of North Chelmsford; two sons and a daughter-law, Roland T. and Michelle Provencher of Hudson,NH and Stephen P. Provencher and his companion Bridget Briand of Haverhill; a brother, Thomas J Hill, Jr of Hampton, NH; five grandchildren, Justin, Andrew and Kaitlin Palmer and Nicolle and Ryan Provencher.
