Lillian E. “Pat” Johnson, 85, beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend, died Saturday, November 9, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was the widow of the late Richard G. “Dick” Johnson, until his passing in 2004.
She was born in Lowell on April 1, 1939 a daughter of the late Lillian (Cregg) and Germain Morin. Prior to her retirement, Pat worked for over 20 years as a secretary in the Assessor’s Office for the Town of Dracut.
Pat was a life-long communicant of Ste. (Therese) Marguerite d’Youville Church in Dracut. Devoted in her Catholic faith, one of her most cherished memories was receiving communion from the Pope several years ago.
In her younger years, Pat loved to travel, enjoyed shopping, playing cribbage, trips to Foxwoods and weekly lunches with friends. She also served on several committees with the town and was always willing to volunteer when needed.
Pat is survived by her children, Steven Johnson and his wife, Barbara and Lisa Wagner and her husband, Gerard both of Dracut; her grandson, Keith Hamel and his wife, Allyssa; her great-grandchildren, Jasper and Saige; her beloved siblings, Elaine Joncas and her husband, Raymond, Susan Spellissy and Paul Morin; her step-grandchildren, Melissa DeRosa and her husband, Eric and Tori Goulette; her step great-grandchildren, Katelyn and Joshua DeRosa, Taylor Goulette and Alex Class; her sister-in-law, Carolyn (Johnson) and her husband, Rudy Koczera; as well as several nieces, nephews and life long friends, including Claudette and Ernie, Regina, Mary, Judy and the Woo Woo Girls.
She is predeceased by her brothers, Bishop Roger Morin and James Morin, her brother-in-law, Michael Spellissy and step-grandson, Mark Goulette.
Relatives and friends are invited to Pat’s Life Celebration on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 from 9 until 10:30 AM at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated immediately following at 11 AM in Ste. Marguerite d’Youville Church, Dracut. Burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pat’s memory to a charity of your choice.
