PORT ORCHARD, WA - Lillian E. (Germain) Houle, 89, a resident of Port Orchard, WA for the last 10 years, died Saturday, December 24, 2005 at the Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton, WA. She was the wife of the late Louis S. Houle.
Born in Canada on July 17, 1916, she was a daughter of the late Lorenzo and Aurea (Godin) Germain.
A former resident of the Centralville section of Lowell, she was a communicant of the former St. Louis de France Church.
Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Houle owned and operated Houle's Variety Store on West Sixth Street in Lowell.
She is survived by three sons, Richard Houle and his wife Martha of Port Orchard, WA, Bernard Houle of Boston and Roger Houle of Portland, Oregon; two sisters, Noella Murphy of Lowell and Yvette Sweeney of Dracut; 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Gerard Germain.
