LOWELL – Lillian C. (Montgomery) Brooks, 88, a resident of the Centralville section of Lowell, died Friday morning, November 16, 2012 at a local health care facility. She was the wife of the late Roland G. Brooks.
Born in Lowell on April 8, 1924, she was a daughter of the late William and Marie B. (Dugas) Montgomery.
Prior to her retirement, Lillian was employed for over 30 years by the Lowell General Hospital in the payroll/internal auditing department. She was a life member of the ladies auxiliary at Lowell General Hospital.
She was a lifelong communicant of St. Michael Church.
Lillian leaves her three daughters, Susan (Gordon) McDonald and her husband John of Lowell, Patricia Baldwin and her husband Charles and Cheryl Dion and her husband Paul, all of Dracut; a daughter-in-law, Gloria Brooks of Dracut; a sister, Isabel Posnak of Lowell; 14 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, two sisters-in-law, several nieces and nephews. She was the step-mother of the late Roland J. Brooks and sister of the late Helen Flood, William Montgomery and Robert W. Montgomery, Sr.
