Lillian T. Bourgeault

Lillian T. Bourgeault, 78, a Lowell resident, died Sunday September 4, at a local nursing home following a lengthy illness.
Born in Lowell on December 21, 1927, a daughter of the late Eugene and Laura (Lebeau) Bourgeault.
In earlier years Lillian was a member of the Sisters of the Assumption and was missioned at Ste. Maria & Nicolet school in Canada. A communicant of the former St. Louis de France parish for many years, she taught religious education there for more than 30 years and was a member of the parish choir. She was also a Girl Scout leader for several years.
Prior to her retirement she was employed for 38 years as a binder for Courier Citizen at their Jackson Street plant. She was an avid Red Sox fan.
Survivors include four sisters and a brother in law, Annette Chausse of Lowell, Helen Theriault of Gilford, NH, Pauline and George Letendre of Plymouth, Claire Dery of Tewksbury; and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Roland Bourgeault, Yvonne Larmand, Cecile Bacon, and Rita Dow.
