Lowell - Lillian G. (Filiponis) Bainbridge, widow of George F. Bainbridge, died Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at her Lowell residence. She was 90.
Lillian was born in Fitchburg on December 19, 1918, a daughter of the late Martin and Anna (Raymond) Filiponis. She graduated from Fitchburg High School. She was married to George Bainbridge for more than 50 years, until the time of his death in 1998.
She was a communicant of St. Michael Church, where she was active in the choir for many years.
Survivors include a niece, Patricia Smith of California, and two nephews, Jack Germaine of Foxboro and Martin Filiponis of Arizona.
