Leonard E. Warner, Sr, a resident of Litchfield, NH, formerly of Lowell, died unexpectedly on Thursday, July 21, 2016, at the Southern New Hampshire Medical Center. He was 78.
Lenny was born in North Ferrisburg Vermont on July 9, 1938, a son of the late Clayton and Stella (Danyow) Warner.
Lenny went to work on the family farm at a young age. He was the first of his family to venture out and moved to Lowell. He was employed as a truck driver for the WR Grace Co., retiring after 26 years of service.
Lenny loved everything outdoors, hunting with his brothers, snowmobiles and atv's. He was a passionate Bruins fan and passed his love of hockey to his sons. Lenny was an exceptional cook. He loved to cook for his family. Lenny cherished children, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed helping out with them whenever his children needed him.
Survivors include his son and daughter, Lenny Jr., Pamela Ferry and their families of NH; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; brothers and sister, Clayton Warner, Jr., of New York, Gene Warner of VT, Shirley Mott of VT, Roger Warner of NY, David Warner of VT; a brother in law, Arthur Masse of FL; and many nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Mark Warner who died on Tuesday and former husband of the late Marie Rose (Masse) Nuber.
