Leo B. Teague, 71, a lifelong Lowell resident, died unexpectedly Friday October 7, 2011 at his home. He shared a forever love with his high school sweetheart, Jeannine A. (Rousseau) Teague with whom he had been married for fifty-one years.
Born in Lowell on June 7, 1940, he was a son of the late Bernard and Marie Jeanne (Chasse) Teague.
For many years, Leo worked as a printer for Raytheon until his retirement. Most recently he was keeping busy by delivering flowers for Feeney Florist of Chelmsford.
He looked forward to bowling on Friday nights at the Collins Bowladrome in Billerica. He was a member of the Lowell Lodge of Elks where he enjoyed playing horseshoes. He spent many seasons camping at Salisbury Beach with his wife. Leo was also a member at Club Lafayette.
In addition to his wife, survivors include a son, Michael Teague and his wife, Karen of Hudson, NH; three daughters, Denise DeAngelis and her husband, John of Chelmsford, Donna Sanderson of Schaghticoke, NY, Laurie Cahill and her husband, Kevin of Dracut; a former son -in- law, Tim Sanderson of Schaghticoke, NY; fourteen grandchildren, Jay, Ashley and Josh DeAngelis, Caitlin, Ryan, Dan, Andrew and Nicole Teague, Chrissy, Maggie and Katie Sanderson, Tim, Molly and Hannah Cahill; two sisters, Jeannette McMeniman and her husband, Gerald of Dracut, Bernadette Poirier and her husband, Richard of Lowell; brothers and sisters -in- law, Ruth Mason of Dracut, Gus Gaudet and his wife, Beverly of Dracut, Paul Gaudet and his wife, Bridget of Gilford, NH, Christina Gaudet-Pelletier and her husband, Dave of Concord, NH; several dear friends including, Roland Guimond, Robert Rancourt and Sonny Benedetti; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was the brother of the late Roger, Maurice, and Bernard Jr. Teague.
