Leo J. Krygowski, Jr., 72, a resident of the Christian Hill neighborhood in the Centralville section of Lowell, died Friday, October 16, 2015 at his home with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Deborah A. (Brunelle) Krygowski, with whom he would have celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on November 28th.
Born in Lowell on February 17, 1943, he was a son of the late Leo J. Krygowski, Sr. and Eleanor (Barker) Krygowski.
Mr. Krygowski attended Lowell schools, including the Moody School and Lowell High School.
He was employed as a truck driver for MacLellan Concrete of Lowell, retiring after 25 years. He was also a member of the Teamsters, Local 49.
Leo was a member of St. Francis Parish in Dracut.
He enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
In addition to his wife Deborah, he is survived by three children, LeeAnn Krygowski of Dracut, Leo J. Krygowski, III and his wife Gretchen (Woods) of Lowell and Kim Krygowski of Lowell; two grandchildren, Cody Krygowski and Amanda Furtado, both of Lowell; two brothers, Michael Krygowski and his wife Carol of Rindge, NH and William Krygowski of Keene, NH; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Nancy and Paul St. Armand of Derry, NH; also several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Katherine Higgins.
