OBITUARY
LOWELL - Leo R. Gendron, 67, a resident of the Highlands section of Lowell, died Friday, October 15, 2004 at the Lowell General Hospital. He was the husband of Jeanne M. (Joyal) Gendron with whom he was married for 45 years.
Born in Lowell on November 23, 1936, he was a son of the late Clement A. and Eva Marie (Chartier) Gendron.
Prior to his retirement, Mr. Gendron was employed by Ideal Tape of Lowell.
He was a communicant of the former Notre Dame de Lourdes Church and had been a member of the Parish Holy Name Society and the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
In addition to his wife he leaves a son and daughter-in-law, Robert A. and Andree (St. Hilaire) Gendron of Tyngsboro; a daughter and son-in-law, Donna D. and William Hoard of Lowell; two brothers and their wives, Francis and Joan (LeBlanc) Gendron of Lowell and Omer and Linda (LaRochelle) Gendron of Lowell; four grandchildren, Nichole and Jessica Gendron, both of Chelmsford, Joshua Gendron of Tyngsboro and EmilyAnn Hoard of Lowell; a great granddaughter, Haley Gendron of Chelmsford; a brother-in-law, Roland Durand of Pelham, NH. He was a brother of the late Doris Durand and adopted father of the late Christopher J. Lambert.
