Lennie R. Lansman

August 23, 1937 — July 4, 2004

Concord, NH - Lynn R. "Lennie" Lansman, 66, a resident of Jefferson, VT died early Sunday morning at the Concord Hospital.
Born in Fairfield, Iowa on August 23, 1937, he was a son of Raymond and Beryl (Lynn) Lansman.
Mr. Lansman proudly served our country in the United States Army and recently retired as a sales representative in the food industry to follow his dreams of Traveling cross country and enjoying the majesty of our nation's national and state parks.
He loved camping and was an accomplished hiker who spent time as much time as possible in the New England mountains. Particularly the New Hampshire mountains, where he climbed all 48 4000 foot peaks earning him membership in the "48-4000 Footers Club."
Mr. Lansman spent his summer months as a park ranger in the Vermont and New Hampshire state parks. During the winter months, he traveled south and found new experiences, new friends, and new hiking trails - always continuing to fulfill his dreams.
He is survived by a son and daughter in law, Glen and Jill Lansman of Jeffersonville, VT; a daughter and son in law, Diane and David Sullivan of Hollis, NH; a sister and brother in law, Lois and Everett Shields of Fairfield, Iowa; four adored grandchildren, Bridget Sullivan, James Sullivan, Sean Sullivan, and Lillian Sullivan; a niece Connie and her husband Gordon Connalles of TX; a nephew Ronnie Shields and his wife Debbie of Palo, Iowa; and a brother Kenneth Lansman.
