Laurie A. Rondeau

She was born in Lowell on January 16, 1976, and was a daughter of the late Andre and Barbara (Hanney) Deschene.  She attended Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell Catholic High School.   

Laurie was employed for many years as a personal care assistant for Stavros.  

She enjoyed going to the beach, listening to music, camping and reminiscing on good times with family and friends.  Her greatest joy however, was spending quality time and going on vacation with her children and grandchildren.  

In addition to her husband, Laurie is survived by two children, Cassidy Foley of Lowell and Jake Rondeau of Chelmsford; her step-son, Brien Rondeau, Jr. of Salem, MA; four grandchildren, Adrien Santiago, Luna Sawtelle, Penelope Sawtelle, and Aaliyah Rondeau; two sisters, Kim Thompson and Karen Coan; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.  

She was also the mother of the late Meadow Rondeau and the sister of the late Darlene Rodier, Gil Deschene, Michelle Deschene, Sharon Deschene, and Kevin Deschene.  

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Laurie’s Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Friday, August 19th at St. Patrick Church, 282 Suffolk Street in Lowell.
