Laura P. (Graham) Blaisdell

January 25, 1935 — May 15, 2022

Laura P. (Graham) Blaisdell, a Dracut resident and the beloved wife fo the late Robert E. Blaisdell, passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2022 after a period of declining health. She was 87.

Born in Lowell on January 25, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Mary (Buote) Graham and was a lifelong resident of Dracut.

Laura owned and operated the former Old Colony Diner in Dracut for many years. She later worked for the Dracut School Department and then as a clerk in the assessors office. Laura worked at the polls in Dracut during many elections and also served as an election warden.

In earlier years Laura coached softball in town, she coached several of her daughter Judy's teams.

Laura enjoyed playing bingo, rummy, Uno and Skip Bo with family and friends. She also enjoyed puzzles and crossword and Sudoko. Laura looked forward to her trips to Foxwood Resorts to try her luck at the slot machines.

What Laura loved the most was spending time with her family, especially her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include her four children and spouses, Judy Blaisdell of Pepperell, Bob Blaisdell of Alton Bay, NH, Gary and Angel Blaisdell of Townsend, Laura Blaisdell and Chris Berthold of Dracut; eleven grandchildren, Chad White, Jennifer DeMaria, Amy McCaffrey, Kristi Blaisdell, Camille Blaisdell, Justin Blaisdell, Randy Blaisdell, Corey Blaisdell, Sean Teneriello, Spencer Teneriello, Samantha Teneriello; thirteen great grandchildren, Kayla White, Noah DeMaria, Emma DeMaria, Elizabeth Brass, Abigail Brass, Nathan Blaisdell, Chase Blaisdell, Ryan Blaisdell, Logan Blaisdell, Brooke Blaisdell, Aubrey Mae Blaisdell, Blake Blaisdell, Adalyn Blaisdell; and several nieces and nephews. Laura was the sister of the late Gerald Graham, Shirley "Sis" Henry, Charles "Buddy" Graham, Gertrude Higgins, Paul Graham, Francis "Mickey" Graham and Elizabeth "Betty" Witts.

Relatives and friends are invited to Laura's Life Celebration at the McKenna-Ouellette Funeral Home, 327 Hildreth Street, from 4 until 8 PM on Thursday. Her graveside services will take place on Friday at 10:30 AM in the Richardson Cemetery. Dracut.
