Kyle P. Winn

October 28, 1988 — May 4, 2019

Kyle was born in 1988 and left us for a world of peace and salvation on May 4, 2019. Although his time on this earth was short, he made an everlasting impression on all he met. Those who knew him best would say he had been sent to us from an earlier generation. One where the concepts of grace and dignity defined how people treated each other.

He had a zest for classical music and fine art. He had a keen eye for fashion and typically looked like he had stepped out of a Brooks Brothers catalogue. He was a voracious reader who never ceased to impress those around him with his vast extent of knowledge on all subjects he took interest in. He had strong political opinions and relished the opportunity to debate. He had a rapier sharp wit combined with a unique sense of humor.

Kyle was a kind and loving old soul who took pride and solace in his deep vested belief in the grace of God and the sanctity of religion. He treasured the occurrence of the holy days and derived comfort and peace from the celebration of mass. He forged long and lasting relationships with those who have dedicated their lives to God's service. Those relationships had a profound and lasting impact upon his life.

He will be sadly missed by family and friends, who can take comfort in knowing that he is in a better place with God, free from pain and anguish. His survivors include his loving mumsie Faith and David Chartrand, his sister Alicia Chartrand, his maternal grandparents Donald and Evelyn Gagnon and David Sr. and Jaqueline Chartrand, his uncles Rodney, Todd, and Corey Gagnon and their families, his aunt Carolyn Iron Mocassin and her family, his great grandmother Alice Frappier, his longtime best friend Heather Kenney, his father Patrick Winn and stepbrother Connor, his paternal grandparents Donald and Maureen Winn, his uncles William and Donald Winn and their families, his dear special aunt Debra Desilets and her family, and his close friend Gregory Morey.

His interment will be held privately by family. There will be a celebration of life mass held at Enders Island in Mystic, Connecticut on June 22, 2019 at 1:00 pm, all are welcome to attend. Enders Island was such a special place for Kyle, and it's where he was at his best. It is truly a fitting location to celebrate his memory. Donations can be made in Kyle's memory at endersisland.com
