Kevin P. Richards

Dracut - Kevin P. Richards, a Dracut resident and beloved husband of Patricia A. (Zannoni) Richards passed away on May 31, 2018, following a two year battle with cancer. He was 60.

Kevin was born in Lowell on July 17, 1957, a son of the late Norman Richards and Pearl (Mayrand) Richards of Lowell who survives him.

Kevin worked for many years in the transportation industry. He drove an eighteen wheeler across the country for Crete Carriers. Kevin loved where his job took him. When he was back home, he enjoyed telling family and friends stories about his adventures along the way. Kevin was lucky enough to have visited every state in the continental United States. He and Patty planned on visiting many of these states he talked about.

Kevin was an avid reader and trivia/history buff. He could be counted on for all of the correct answers. Kevin enjoyed time spent with family and friends. He especially looked forward to visits with his grandchildren. Kevin would do anything for Patty, except yard work.

Surviving him besides his wife and mother are his two children and a son in law, Ashley and Garrett Walsh of Dracut, Michael Richards of Lowell; two grandchildren, Aria and Brody Walsh; a brother Jeffrey Richards of Lowell; two sisters and a brother in law, Amy and Robert Inglis of Dover, NH, Gloria DeFranco of AZ; father in law, Egisto "Terry" Zannoni; sisters in law and brothers in law, Gail and Roger Perreault, William and Rita Zannoni, Robin and Mark Birolini all of Dracut; and several nieces and nephews. He was the son in law of the late Eleanor Zannoni.

Richards - Relatives and friends are invited to Kevin's Life Celebration in the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, from 4 until 7 PM on Sunday. His funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Monday at 11:00 AM. Burial in Richardson Cemetery, Dracut. In lieu of Flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Cancer Center at Lowell General Hospital, 295 Varnum Ave, Lowell, MA 01854.
