Kerry Ann (Grimshaw) Marcotte

March 9, 1977 — February 24, 2021

BOSTON - Kerry Ann (Grimshaw) Marcotte, age 43, a resident of Boston and former Lowell resident died unexpectedly, Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at her home following a courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of Jude R. Marcotte, Jr, with whom she would have celebrated her tenth wedding anniversary on June 6th.

She was born in Lowell on March 9, 1977, and was a daughter of Gail B. (Briggs) Grimshaw of Lowell and the late David L. Grimshaw who died in 2013. She received her education in Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School, Class of 1995. She then went on to earn her Associate's Degree in Business from Middlesex Community College.

Kerry was employed for over 25 years as an investigator for the Special Investigation Unit of MetLife.

In her free time, she enjoyed crafting, especially crafting gifts for her family and friends, and watching all of the Boston sports teams, especially the New England Patriots and the Boston Bruins. She had a passion for shopping and cherished her time spent in the company of her loving family, especially her adoring nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and mother, Kerry is survived by her brother, David Grimshaw of Lowell; her sister, Kate Albano of Lowell; her father-in-law, Robert Harrison of Dracut; three brothers-in-law, Johnathan Marcotte and his wife Amie of KS, Roger Marcotte of Lowell, and Donald Harrison and his wife Lyndsey of Texas; two sisters-in-law, Nicole Silva and her husband Tony of Fitchburg and Alicia Medina and her husband Nelson of Londonderry, NH; her nieces and nephews, Jasmine, Dylan, Johnathan, Antonio, Cassandra, Jocelyn, Dominic, Benjamin, and Andrina; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.

She was also the daughter-in-law of the late Nancy Harrison.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Kerry's Life Celebration at the MCKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street in Lowell on Friday, March 5th from 5:00 until 8:30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kerry's memory to MSPCA at Nevins Farm, 400 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844, as she loved dogs, including her own two, Phoebe and Tucker. Tucker of course being a rescue himself (and Mommy's boy).
