Kenneth A. Klier, 57 of Methuen, died unexpectedly on Wednesday June 18, 2014 at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen. He was the beloved husband and soul mate of Denise (Deschenes) Klier of Methuen with whom he was married for 23 years.
Born in Methuen on April 22, 1957, he was a son of the late John Klier and Eileen (Henry) Deveau of Lowell who survives him.
Just recently, Ken celebrated his thirtieth year of employment as a computer technician with Verizon.
Ken enjoyed life, possessed a fabulous sense of humor and was a huge flirt despite his claims of being antisocial. He was most proud of his daughters, Karleen Klier, a student at Northern Essex Community College in Haverhill and Klarissa Klier, a senior at Presentation of Mary Academy in Methuen.
In addition to his wife, daughters and mother, Ken is also survived by a brother, Kevin Klier and his wife, Janice of Dracut; his sisters, Kim Brown and her husband, Kevin of MD; Karen Walsh and her husband, Tim of Pelham, NH; Krystal Deveau of Lowell; his mother-in-law, Blanche Deschenes of Lowell; a sister-in-law, Judy Deschenes and her wife, Jeanne Roy of Dracut; a brother-in-law, Kevin Deschenes of Chelmsford; many dear friends, including his best friends, Frank and Malisa Urbanek of Methuen; several nieces and nephews. He was the son-in-law of the late Wilfrid Deschenes, Jr.
