Kenneth T. Houston

Litchfield, NH - Kenneth T. Houston, 78, a resident of Litchfield, NH, died Saturday, June 24, 2006 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH. He was the husband of the late Marie T. (Desmarais) Houston.
Born in Lowell on December 17, 1927, he was a son of the late George E. and Annette (Geoffroy) Houston.
He served with the United States Coast Guard during peacetime.
Prior to his retirement, Mr. Houston was employed by the City of Lowell in the Ashes and Waste Department.
He was a member of the Lowell Lodge of Elks.
He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert K. and Luanne (Daigle) Houston and David E. and Theresa (Mahoney) Houston, all of Litchfield, NH; two sisters, Jacqueline Rashid of Lawrence and Paulette Moore and her husband Robert of Pauma Valley, CA; three brothers, his twin brother, Maynard Houston and his wife Rita of Lowell, Paul Houston and his wife Jeanne of Port St. Lucy, FL and Maurice Houston and his wife Deborah of Milford, NH; 6 grandchildren, Christopher Houston and his wife Kristen of San Diego, CA, Matthew Houston of Castleberry, FL, Craig, Kyle, Phillip and John Houston, all of Litchfield, NH; a sister-in-law, Therese Houston of Villa Park, CA; several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Bernard Houston.
