Kenneth F. Buckley, a resident of Dracut and the beloved husband of the late Joan I. (Byrne) Buckley died on Saturday August 9, 2014 following a brief illness. He was 87.
Born in Lowell on March 10, 1927, a son of the late Patrick F. and Myrtle (Adams) Buckley, he resided in Dracut for many years.
A sign maker by trade, Ken worked for Batten Brothers Sign company for 30 years and then for Barlo Sign Company of Hudson, NH for 20 years.
In 1956 Ken built his Dracut residence, working his job all day and coming home to work on his house.
He loved his house, especially his yard. Ken enjoyed doing his yard work and trimming his hedges.
Kenneth took pleasure in traveling with his wife Joan. They were fond of Maine and York Beach.
Surviving Kenneth is his son Kevin Buckley of Dracut. He was the father of the late David Buckley and brother of the late Richard Buckley.
