Keith M. MacDonald

DRACUT - Keith M. MacDonald, age 54, a longtime resident of Dracut died Friday, September 6, 2024 at Tufts Medical Center in Boston following a long, courageous battle with cancer and was surrounded by his loving family and closest friend.Keith was born in Lowell, Massachusetts on March 15, 1970, and is a son of Angus “Danny” and Carolyn “Casey” (Boyle) MacDonald of Dracut. He received his education in Dracut schools and was a graduate of Dracut High School, Class of 1988. Prior to his illness, Keith was employed for many years as a fire sprinkler installer for various companies throughout the area. Keith was an avid fisherman, cultivator and enjoyed working on cars and was able to fix anything if he had the right tool or just a roll of duct tape. He also enjoyed spending time at his family’s camp, Woodbrook Camp and Tennis Club in Fitzwilliam, NH, where he chaired the annual basket raffle. In addition to his parents, Keith was survived by two brothers, Daniel J. MacDonald and Craig T. MacDonald, both of Dracut; a niece, Shannon R. Richardson and her husband Kyle and their son Luke of Worcester; two aunts, Margaret “Peggy” Bennett of Holiday, FL and Janet “Janie” Bernard of Largo, FL; and many cousins and friends. Keith was predeceased by, his Aunts Patricia A. Shea and Mary A. Day, and Uncles Walter T. Bennett and Ernest H. Bernard.Relatives and friends are invited to attend Keith’s Life Celebration at the McKenna-Ouellette Funeral Home, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell on Sunday, September 15th from 2:00pm until 5:00pm. He Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, September 16th at 10am at St. Francis Church 115 Wheeler Rd. Dracut, MA. Burial will be private.
