Katherine J. Rousseau

LOWELL - Katherine J. "Kaye" (McCarthy) Rousseau, 93, a resident of the Pawtucketville section of Lowell, died Sunday morning, March 8, 2009, at a local nursing home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Henry Rousseau.
Born in Lowell on August 29, 1915, she was a daughter of the late Dominick and Sabrina (Delaney) McCarthy.
Mrs. Rousseau was a communicant of St. Rita Church and had been a member of the Blessed Virgin Sodality and the Women's Club of St. Rita. She was also a 70 year member of the Friendly "8" Club and a member of the Keith Hall Mothers' Guild. She had also volunteered her time for the Missions of Mother Theresa.
She had worked at the former St. Joseph's and St John's Hospitals as a T.V. Hostess.
She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Joan and Jack Pierce of Tyngsboro, Ann Marie and Edward Wilk of Seabrook, NH and Brenda and Dan O'Brien of Tyngsboro; nine grandchildren, Jack Pierce, Kari Lynn Pierce-Clarke, Patti Ann Dalimonte, Thomas Pierce, Corey Pierce, Jessica Wheaton, Justin O'Brien, Jonathan Wilk and Kendrick Wilk; 16 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter. She also leaves many dear friends at D'Youville Senior Care. Kaye was the sister of the late Mary Romalho.
