Katherine J. Nickola

Katherine J. Nickola, 37, of Lawrence, died Sunday February 27, 2011 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill following a long illness.
Kathy was born in Boston on March 9, 1973, a daughter to the late Norman and Bertha (Trudel) Nickola, but has been a Lowellian most of her life. She loved family barbeques, soft and classic rock, and walking along the river at the boulevard. She loved Christmas and enjoyed boiled dinners on St. Patrick’s Day with family and friends.
Survivors include a son, Richard W. Nickola of Lowell; a daughter, Kristyn L. Nickola of Lawrence; two brothers, James W. Nickola of Lawrence and Christopher Nickola of Newton, NH; a sister, Cheryl Nickola of Lowell. She was the sister of the late Rita Pagan.
