Karen Ann Rousseau

New Orleans, LA - Karen Ann Rousseau, 55, passed away after a courageous battle with Lupus on Monday, July 20, 2009. She was born January 1, 1954 in Lowell, MA.

Karen graduated from Lowell General Hospital School of Nursing and was a registered nurse for many years. She moved to New Orleans several years ago and loved living in the French Quarter. She was able to spend most of her time with her daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her father, Hervey A. Rousseau and her nephew, Michael Rousseau.

Karen is survived by her daughter, April Granier and her husband Eldon Granier, Jr. of Kenner, LA; mother, Lorraine Rybczyk and her husband Henry Rybczyk of Leesburg, FL; brothers, Michael Rousseau and his wife Sharon of Pelham, NH and Larry Rousseau of Cape Cod, MA; sisters, Christine Hart and her husband David of Westford, MA and Donna Rousseau of Bradenton, FL; grandchildren, Evan, Brittany, and Lauren Granier; as well as many nieces and nephews and extended family.
