LOWELL – Karen P. (Dailey) Geoffroy, 56, a resident of the Christian Hill neighborhood in the Centralville section of Lowell, died peacefully on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 with her loving family by her side.
Born in Lowell on January 17, 1955, she was a daughter of the late Charles R. Dailey, Sr. and Patricia M. (Carrigg) Dailey of Lowell, with whom she resided.
Karen was a graduate of St. Michael Parochial School, Lowell High School and the former Lowell Technological Institute.
Prior to her illness, Karen was employed as a manager for the Billerica Credit Union.
She was a lifelong communicant of St. Michael Church and was a former member of the Parish Pastoral Council. She also belonged to the League of Catholic Women and the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians.
In addition to her mother she is survived by two sons, Ronald P. Geoffroy, Jr. and Katie Ralls of Pelham, NH and Daniel C. Geoffroy and his wife Jennifer of Dracut; a brother, Harry S. Dailey and his wife Gisele of Wilton, NH; two sisters, Judith A. MacNeil and her husband Richard of Hudson, NH and Pamela J. Putnam and her husband Kenneth of Pelham, NH; a sister-in-law, Donna Dailey of Pelham, NH; four grandchildren, Austin Geoffroy of Westford, Madyson Geoffroy of Lowell, Kailey Langlois and Kaydence Gendron, both of Dracut; also several nieces and nephews.
She was a sister of the late Charles R. Dailey, Jr., John J. Dailey and Brenda M. Dailey.
Karen's family would like to thank her many friends and the staff at Willow Manor for their support and compassionate care during her illness.
