Justin David Poitras, BFD, a resident of the Roxbury section of Boston passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2018, at the Boston Medical Center as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was 31.

Born in Lowell on December 19, 1986, he was a son of Miriam Nieves Poitras of Haverhill and Mark and Sue Ann (Egan) Poitras of Nashua, NH.

Justin grew up in Lowell and moved to Nashua, NH during high school. He was a 2005 graduate of Nashua High School. Justin entered the United States Marine Corps upon graduation. Justin was outgoing and laidback. He was always willing to help people. Wether he was lending his ear to help solve a problem, or helping someone with a project. He was always right there.
Justin loved his family and his firefighter brothers. He was happiest when he was around all of them.
