DRACUT - June (Brown) Ducharme, 91, of Dracut, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2018, with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph A. Ducharme. Born in Lowell, on January 26, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Alice (Landry) Brown.
Mrs. Ducharme was a long time resident of Dracut and owner of the former Dracut Center Pharmacy. June was an integral part of the formation and success of Dracut Center Pharmacy which dated back to 1954 and was extremely proud her children followed in their father's footsteps and took control of the family business upon his retirement. However, June's legacy is about her devotion to family and she cherished her time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
June loved to cook and read recipes and enjoyed watching a variety of cooking shows on TV. She was also a devoted Patriots and Red Sox fan and loved watching Big Papi and Tom Brady in action.
June is survived by her two children: her son Richard N. Ducharme and his wife Darlene from Dracut and her daughter Denise D. Adams and her husband Joseph also from Dracut. June leaves 5 grandchildren, Michael Ducharme and his wife Kristen from Londonderry, NH, Kristen Locke and her husband James from Hudson, NH, Megan Paro from Dracut, Ashley Paro from South Boston, and Jeffrey Adams from Dracut. She also leaves 3 great-grandchildren: Connor and Jackson Ducharme, and Logan Locke.
June was pre-deceased by her brother Neal Brown and her sister Eileen Chalifoux. June also leaves dear cousins, Aline Cunningham and Nancy Grondine as well as several nieces and nephews.
