Julio A. "Tony" Rivera-Lucena, 56, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2018, at the Tufts Medical Center from injuries sustained in a pedestrian/motor vehicle accident. He leaves the love of his life, Christine Patterson and her family, Cynthia, John and Stacey Patterson, and their fur babies, Dino, Daisy, Snickers and Emma.
Born in Camuy, Puerto Rico, on July 4, 1961, he was a son of the late Antonio and Lisa (Lucena) Rivera. He is survived by his sister, Andrea Rivera and his step daughter, Emily Mercado and her children, all of Puerto Rico, his niece, Kathy Rivera, and many nieces and nephews.
Julio was a self employed landscaper. He loved to spend time in his yard listening to music, gardening and cooking.
Along with Christine, he enjoyed playing in the pool league at Thirty's Bar and Grill in Tyngsboro and was a member of the American Pool Association. Most important to him was spending time with family.
SERVICES - Relatives and friends are invited to Julio's Life Celebration on Saturday afternoon from 4 until 6 PM at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street. Funeral Services will follow in the Funeral Home at 6 PM.
