Juliette T. (Hebert) Soucy

November 24, 1931 — December 22, 2017

LOWELL - Juliette T (Hebert) Soucy, 86, of the Centralville section of Lowell, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, December 22, 2017, joining her husband Joseph and son Mark in heaven. She was born in Lowell MA November 24, 1931, and was the daughter of the late Leo and Bernadette (Denault) Hebert.

Prior to retirement, Julie was employed as a Senior Technician at Sanders in Hudson NH.
Following her retirement, she loved to travel to visit her children and grandchildren, taking many vacations with her family, she also took many trips with local travel groups and traveled to the Holy Land with her sister.

She was active in the community and helped to co-found a nonprofit group The Road to Recovery Bereavement support group which helped people in the greater Lowell area through the grieving process. Julie was also a deeply religious person and was a member of the St Louis Prayer group for many years. Prior to her illness she attended daily mass at Saint Michael and was a friendly visitor for the parish bringing both companionship and communion to many homebound parishioners

But nothing defined Julie more than her love for family. Family was the most important part of her life, and hosting family parties was where she shined. She would always find a way to include her family and friends and would always say the more the merrier.

The Family would like to thank the staff and health care providers of Fairhaven Health Care Center for their care and compassion and would like to personally thank Rosa for gentle loving touch.

She leaves her three children and their spouses Joanne and Robert Wojcik Hoschton, GA, Michele and Gary Jusczak of Lowell MA and Kevin and Tracey Soucy of Houston TX, as well as her six grandchildren David and Sarah Wojcik, Ian and Patrick Soucy, and Micaela and Josef Jusczak. She is also survived by her two brothers and their spouses Leo and Lorraine Hebert of Methuen and Paul and Janet Hebert of Lowell and her sister in law Judy Hebert of Lowell as well as many nieces and nephews, Julie was also predeceased by her brother Richard Hebert, and her sister Rachel Roy and her husband Robert.
