Obituary - Julia A. Harris
Lowell - Julia A. (Cullinan) Harris, 72, wife of the late George Harris, a lifelong Lowell resident, died at her home on Monday November 1, 2004, following a brief illness.
She was born in Lowell on March 19, 1932 a daughter of the late John and Alice (LaBonte) Cullinan.
Mrs. Harris was educated in the Lowell schools and prior to her retirement she was employed by the Massachusetts Division of Employment Security in Lowell. She was a communicant of St. Patrick Church in Lowell, and was a devoted mother who loved gardening, reading, the fine arts and music.
She is survived by three daughters and a son in law, Linda Alvarado, and Kathy Harris both of Lowell, Diane and Edgar Auger of Floral City, FL; two sons and a daughter in law, James and Carol Harris of Lowell, Stephen Harris of Brooksville, FL; a sister Diane Phaneuf of Dracut; a daughter in law, Shirley Jones of Dracut; seven grandchildren, John and Susan Alvarado of Carlisle, PA, George Harris of Methuen, David Colon of Brooksville, FL, James Harris of Lowell, Luis Cora of Lowell, Rebecca Harris of Dracut; five great grandchildren, Paige Marie Colon and David Colon III of Brooksville, FL, Anthony O'Sullivan, Siara and Nicholas Alvarado all of Carlisle, PA; her dear friend Helen Marie Ledoux of Lowell; and many nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late John R. Harris.
