Judith L. "Judi" Regan

Judith L. “Judi” (Clark) Regan, age 67, a resident of Lowell passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Boston Medical Center with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of John R. Regan, to whom she was married for 48 years.  

She was born in Lowell on February 11, 1955, and was a daughter of the late William and Theresa (Cyr) Clark.  She received her education in Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School, class of 1972.  

Judi passionately spent her life tending to the needs of her family and her greatest joy was spending time in their company, especially with her adoring grandchildren. She loved and vacationed on Salisbury Beach and always had an abundance of strength and energy for her shopping trips.  

Judi actively participated in the Thyroid Cancer Survivors’ Association (ThyCa), through which she helped countless survivors with her encouraging words and advice. Before ThyCa existed, Judi hosted a chatroom for thyroid cancer on AOL. Judi also participated in many of the Lowell General Hospital TeamWalk for CancerCare events. 

Judi’s family would like to thank Dr. Stephanie Lee of Boston Medical Center for 30 years of amazing care and compassion.

In addition to her husband Judi is survived by her four children; Timothy Regan and his wife Jill of Pepperell; Stacey Resto and her husband Eddie, Kerrie Regan and her significant other Matt Bowen, and River Regan, all of Lowell; six grandchildren, Jordan Regan, Alexis Regan, Cristian Resto, Mason Regan, Addison Regan and Dylan Resto; two brothers, William Clark and his wife Martha of Groton, Richard Clark and his significant other Christine Jillett of Salisbury; two sisters, Donna Spellissy and her husband Bernie, and Cathy Gettings, all of Lowell; two brothers-in-law, Joe Regan and his wife Diane of Hudson, NH and Paul Cyr of North Providence, RI; a sister-in-law, Kathy McDonald and her husband Bob of Lowell; her faithful companions Tucker and Harper; and many nieces and nephews.  

Judi was also the sister of the late Shirley Cyr and the sister-in-law of the late Mark Gettings.  

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Judi’s Life Celebration at the MCKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell on Thursday from 4:00 until 8:00pm.  Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 10:00am at the funeral home.  Burial in St. Mary Cemetery in Tewksbury.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Judi’s memory to Thyroid Cancer Survivors’ Association, PO Box 1102, Olney, MD 20830-1102 or at thyca.org or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or at stjude.org.
