Judith E. (McDougall) Plourde, 77, a Dracut resident, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at Westford House. She was the loving wife of the late Paul A. Plourde, Sr., with whom she shared 50 years or marriage, until his passing in 2017.
Born in Lowell on November 30, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Ethel (Norman) and Joseph McDougall. Prior to her recent retirement in December of 2025, Judith was employed by Middlesex Community College as a working foreman. Always dedicated to her work, Judith found passion and purpose in her life-long career.
Known for her dedication to family, Judith cherished time spent with loved ones, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
An avid lover of all things Elvis, bingo and all her nightly television shows.
Judith is survived by her three children, Paul A. Plourde, Jr. and his wife, Doris (Bevins), Tina M. (Plourde) Nickles and her husband, Stephen, Jr. and Jodie L. (Plourde) Hanlon and her husband, Sean all of Dracut; her grandchildren, Paul A. Plourde, III, Justin Hudon, Jonathan Plourde, Kevin Bearden, Jr., Mathew Plourde, Brittany Arseneault and her husband, Corey, Makayla Eno and her husband, Brandon, Jurnee Hanlon and Sean Hanlon; her honorary grandchildren, Alec and Brandon Lopez; her great-grandchildren, Anthony, Janelle, Angelina, Lucas, Luke, Jaxson, Everleigh, Penelope, Jameson, Maddox and expecting great-grandson, Landon; her brothers, Albert Normandin of CA, Donald McDougall and his wife, Carol of NH and Robert McDougall of Dracut; her dear friend, Linda McMeniman, whose friendship meant so much; also many nieces, nephews, in-laws, grandnieces and grandnephews.
She was the sister of the late Raymond Normandin and John McDougall.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Judith’s Life Celebration on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 from 3 until 7 PM at McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 AM in Ste. Marguerite d’Youville Church, Dracut. Burial to follow in Oakland Cemetery, Dracut.
