DUNSTABLE - Judith Frances Pigeon, 72, of Dunstable, MA, died Monday, June 28, 2021, surrounded by grandsons Aidan and Andrew, son Michel Pigeon and partner Robert Ogden following a courageous battle against pancreatic cancer. Judy passed into the next life to be greeted by her late parents, Ernest and Lucienne (Dunn) Pigeon.
Judy grew up in South Lowell, a communicant of the Sacred Heart Church and was a graduate of Lowell High School, Class of 1966. Judy worked for the United States Air Force for many years at the Office of Special Investigations at Hanscom AFB. A reliable worker, she could be counted on to be manning the office while the investigators were out driving or flying around.
Judy loved her grandsons and enjoyed vacations with them and all family members to the shores of the great Lake Winnipesaukee. With her partner in life, Bob Ogden, retired Lowell Police Officer, and amateur gardener and chicken coop tender, she enjoyed many wonderful years even learning how to care for the chickens. Judy and Bob also enjoyed many getaways to the shores of Wells Beach, Maine. She was instrumental in hosting many holiday dinners with Bob and his sons Jackie and David and their families. Judy enjoyed the bowling leagues at Brunswick Lanes and socializing with all team members.
Judy's family would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses at St. Joseph's Hospital Cancer Center in Nashua, NH for the wonderful care provided to her.
Judy is survived by five siblings, brother, Ernest (Rita) Pigeon; sisters, Constance St. Pierre, Janice (Jack) Lannan, Carol (Dennis) Tourville and Mary Lou (Ricky) Tourville; her son, Michael Pigeon and his friend Erin McCartin. her grandsons, Aidan and Andrew. She is also survived by her partner in life, Robert Ogden; also many nieces, nephews and cousins. Judy also leaves her Godson, James St. Pierre. Judy was predeceased by her brother-in-law, Raymond St. Pierre.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Judy's Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Saturday morning, July 3, at 11 AM in St. Margaret of Scotland Church, 374 Stevens Street, Lowell. Burial will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to: St. Joseph Hospital Cancer Center, 172 Kinsley St., Nashua, NH 03060.
