Joyce “Joycie” M. (Zusin) Kane, 84, of The Villages, Florida, formerly of Lowell, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 17, 2025, of declining health, surrounded by her loving daughters.
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, Joyce was the daughter of the late William J. Sr. and Josephine (Olejarz) Zusin. She was raised in Lowell and graduated from Lowell High School with the Class of 1959. Joyce also attended the University of Massachusetts.
Joyce was predeceased by her devoted husband, Ralph Marceau, who passed away in October 2020. Together, they shared a life filled with love, laughter, and warmth especially in The Villages, Florida.
Throughout her life, Joyce worked for several local companies, including Americraft Carton and Joan Fabrics, both in Lowell, Boston & Maine Railway, Honeywell, and Smith & Nephew. However, real estate was her true passion. As a realtor serving Massachusetts and New Hampshire, Joyce helped countless families find the perfect place to call home. She worked with several respected firms over the years, including Century 21, Gloria Brown, Coldwell Banker, and most recently, William Raveis Real Estate. Known for her professionalism, integrity, and warm personality, Joyce was deeply admired by her clients and colleagues alike.
Joyce is survived by her beloved daughters and their spouses: Catherine (Kane) Cove and her husband Darrell, and Kelley (Kane) Bernyk and her husband Charles. She was the proud grandmother of Kelcie Montanez, Collin Camara, Evan and Jaclyn Cove, Jacob Dolliver, Brandon and Sarah Bernyk and Briana Musto. She also had several great-grandchildren and lots of wonderful friends.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Lisa A. Kane, in 2018, and by her brothers, William Jr. and Joseph Zusin.
Joyce will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, wonderful sense of humor and passion for politics. She brought warmth, joy and debate to everyone she met and leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Memorial Visitation on Friday, Nov. 21, from 4 until 6 PM with Funeral Services to follow at 6 PM at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street.
