Josephine A. McNulty

Josephine A. (Crowe) McNulty, 83, a resident of the Centralville section of Lowell, died Tuesday morning, March 23, 2004 at her home.
Born in Lowell on February 19, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Thomas A. and Bridgett (Duffy) Crowe.
Mrs. McNulty was educated in Lowell Schools and during World War II served with the United States Army and received the American Service Medal, the Good Conduct Medal, the Victory Medal and the WAAC Service Ribbon.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed by the City of Lowell as the head clerk in the Fire Chief's Office.
She was a communicant of St. Michael Church and held membership in the Holy Rosary Sodality and St. Dominic's Club. She was also a member of the Catholic Daughters of America.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Katherine E. and Ralph Quarles of Bloomington, IN; also several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Catherine Crowe, Winifred Crowe and Mary Pulsifer.
